The scheme, which is being backed in Ireland by the Clean Technology Centre – part of the Cork Institute of Technology, is being led by Italian environmental group the AREA Science Park.

The Intelligent USe of Energy at School (IUSES) project aims to improve the ability of teachers in teaching energy efficiency and support schools in saving energy.

The teachers involved in the project will also learn the importance of energy efficiency for the future of Europe and will have a training kit to allow them to teach it in a proper and effective way.
