Meet the Phosphate Consents of the future, today

Event Date: 07/07/2016 2:00 pm

A webinar looking at the likely challenges facing the municipal water industry with significantly stricter Phosphate discharge consents and two processes to meet these challenges.

Over AMP6 and AMP7 there will be a requirement to reduce the Phosphate loads leaving Wastewater Treatment Plant to the rivers in order to conform to current EU directives on river pollution. In some cases this will need a 5- 10 times improvement in the Phosphate leaving the wastewater works and will require significant investment by Water Companies or other Industrial users to improve the quality of the discharge to the river. Two innovative processes (CoMag® and BioMag® systems) will be discussed that are already being installed as technologies to meet these new challenges.
