Consulting and business services group Mouchel has appointed Marco Caporilli as Head of its Middle East business.

Marco’s appointment to this new role is part of a wider restructuring of Mouchel’s international business to address recent changes in the Middle East marketplace.

Marco brings more than 21 years’ experience in the international market to the role. He joined Mouchel in 1992 working on large marine projects in the UK and the Middle East. Marco has been instrumental in helping to grow Mouchel’s international business since moving to Dubai in 1997. Prior to this appointment, he was Director of Client Services, responsible for business development and consultancy services in the Gulf.

He said: “I am really pleased to be taking on the role of Head of Middle East for Mouchel’s international business. The Gulf is still one of the most exciting places to be working at the moment. The vast majority of our work internationally comprises the planning, design and supervision of infrastructure works, but we are increasingly extending that role into programme and project management.”

Piers Clark, Managing Director of Mouchel’s Regulated Industries and International business, said: “Marco’s appointment marks the next phase of the restructuring of our business in the Gulf, following the significant changes that have happened in the market over the last year. We are well equipped to address the opportunities that lie ahead and, with Marco at the helm, we are confident that our international business in the Gulf will steer the right course.”
