Developing world protesters attack COP delegates

Delegates arriving at the Copenhagen climate change talks were greeted by several groups of vocal protesters supporting developing countries.

Protesters, this morning (December 9), were angered by what they saw as a lack of commitment from developed countries as the crucial talks reached their third official day.

One group dressed in red suits and ties dubbed themselves climate debt agents and they promised to keep up the pressure on world leaders to seal a deal at COP15.

Many other groups held protests including a group of south east Asians who called to delegates as they went into Copenhagen’s Bella Centre that they should be focusing on the plight of the world’s poor.
