The free event proved a hugely informative forum for discussing the tax elements of the Carbon Reduction Commitment Energy Efficiency Scheme (CRC).

The level of questions from the audience was such that many questions had to be taken offline as there wasn’t time to deal with them all within the webinar itself.

For those who missed it, you can still view the webinar recording and send questions to the presenters by clicking on this link and filling in your details to listen again.

The webinar was presented by EDF Energy’s regulation and compliance analyst Siobhan Hyland and product development and sales manager Michael Capper.

EDF Energy’s product portfolio manager, Leanne Quah, said: “Edie promoted the event effectively amongst their customer base to get a large number of attendees across a wide range of relevant companies at our webinar.

“The results were very pleasing, with a high level of engagement during the session that showed attendees found the webinar interface easy to use.”

Edie’s director, Carl Myers, said: “We are delighted by the incredibly positive response to edie’s first ever live webinar.

“The interactivity of the event demonstrated it was a genuine success, as EDF succeeded in delivering a highly informative and valuable experience for edie users, as well as generating a large number of leads for their own business.”
