Networking event set to debate resource efficiency agenda

Waste experts will gather in London next month to debate what is driving resource efficiency forward within businesses and organisations, both on a political and practical level.

The network event, hosted by LRS Consultancy, will take place on 29 September and is entitled ‘Driving change: Are resource scarcity and commerciality more influential than policy?’.

It is aimed at both the private and public sector including CSR and finance managers, waste producers, waste contractors, technology suppliers, government officials and councils.

Speakers at the event include Ecolateral’s Peter Jones, who will be talking about incentives for investors in waste infrastructure, WRAP’s chief executive Liz Goodwin on the role of voluntary agreements in the retail and C&D sectors, and Duncan Jones from Hertfordshire Waste Partnership on how councils can tap into the opportunities of the materials value chain.

The event is supported by a number of high profile names including Bywaters, Powerday, Veoila, Recyclebank, Sauce Consultancy and SJ Berwin. As official media partner for the event, edieWaste will be giving full coverage to the event.

Tickets to the event cost £25, with a limited number of free places available. To register your interest in attending, email Debbie.Hitchen@lrsconsultancy.com or call 0207 061 6357.
