SustainabilityLive! shortlisted for Climate Week award

SustainabilityLive! organised by edie.net publisher Faversham House, has been shortlisted in the Best Event category of the Climate Week Awards 2012.

The Climate Week Awards celebrate “the UK’s most innovative, effective, and ambitious organisations, communities and individuals and their outstanding efforts to combat climate change” and the SustainabilityLive! team are understandably excited to have made the shortlist.

“It is a real honour to be considered for the Climate Week best event category alongside other leading companies,” said event director Donna Bushell. “SustainabilityLive! brings together the country’s experts who help in the battle to combat climate change and we are thrilled that the event has been recognised for its part in promoting new technologies and innovations in energy efficiency, water saving solutions and environmental services.”

The exhibition, the UK’s leading water, energy, environmental, land and sustainable business exhibition, is up against three other events in its category: London Green Fair, the UK Green Film Festival and Bournemouth and Poole Big Green Fortnight.

The winner will be announced at a reception on March 12 at Lancaster House, London.

Entry may now be closed for the Climate Week Awards, but there’s still plenty of time to enter the Sustainability Leaders Awards, formerly the Awards for Environmental Excellence. To find out more about the Sustainability Leaders Awards, click here.

SustainabilityLive! 2012 takes place at the NEC, Birmingham on May 22-24 this year.
