Environmental forums for businesses set to launch

A number of free regional forums for UK businesses have been launched to keep organisations up-to-speed with the latest environmental legislation and offer useful advice.

Launched by environmental solution provider Valpak the forums will run throughout June and July and cover issues such as; UK and international environmental legislation, energy and waste management and the government red tape review, as well as offer networking opportunities.

Representatives from the Environment Agency (EA), Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) and the Department of Environment Northern Ireland (DOE NI) will form part of the panel of experts for some of these events.
Valpak chief executive officer Steve Gough, said: “We understand that some businesses may find keeping up-to-date with legislation to be time consuming and complex, which is why we have launched these Regional Forums.

“They will provide an excellent opportunity for any business to make sure that they continue to be or are fully compliant with all environmental legislation that affects them.”
