Carbon Trust announces sponsorship of Resource Revolution Awards

After an incredible response to this week's publication of the Resource Revolution White Paper, edie and sister title LAWR are delighted to announce Carbon Trust as sponsor of the Resource Revolution Awards.

The awards, which take place on May 10th at London’s Russell Hotel, will celebrate the very best examples of businesses in all stakeholder groups, which are closing the waste loop and driving the circular economy forward.

Carbon Trust will be presenting the award for Closed Loop Exemplar at the ceremony and gala lunch, which is preceded by a live panel debate, sponsored by FCC Environment. Experts and awards attendees will be invited to discuss the learning from the revolution thus far, including the exclusive White Paper and Leader Interview Series.

Commenting on the decision to sponsor this exciting new event, Carbon Trust Advisory managing director Hugh Jones told edie: “The Carbon Trust is delighted to be involved in the Resource Revolution awards. We are advising ever more businesses and publically funded organisations around the globe on the opportunities and risks inherent in a resource constrained world, as they increasingly focus on the global resource crunch.

“The Closed Loop Exemplar award is testament to the great strides that some organisations are making to adapt and innovate their businesses accordingly.”
