Euromec extends range with multi-purpose machines

Leading supplier of municipal and industrial cleaning equipment, Euromec, earlier this year introduced the Powerflex 2100, a multi-purpose grounds and facility maintenance machine.

Powerflex comprises a common chassis with a range of attachments for sweeping, washing, raking and mowing The machine is designed to clear snow and ice, mulch and garden waste, litter and debris, and can change from one attachment to another in under four minutes, the company states. Powered and articulated steering plus a turning radius of 1.5 metres to tackle allows the versatile maintenance machine to clear difficult to reach areas.

Typical applications include sweeping pavement areas using a suction sweeper unit with an optional third brush to clear dust and debris. Adding a weed ripper attachment allows for clearing pavements and driveways of leaves and weeds. A rotary mower and mulch attachment will maintain neat and tidy lawns and edges. The Kubota diesel engine and a hydrostatic four-wheel drive system allows Powerflex to climb gradients and kerbs with ease. It comes with an ergonomically designed seat for extra driver comfort, and a removable cab ensures comfort in all weather conditions. Logically laid out car style controls are also incorporated in the Powerflex.

Peter Crewe, Managing Director of Euromec, commented, “Our new Powerflex 2100 is a truly remarkable piece of machinery that can tackle all manner of cleaning and maintenance tasks, whatever the weather.”

This year also saw another milestone being reached by Euromec with the presentation to Westminster City Council and Onyx of the 100th Azura machine to be sold in the UK and commemorative plaques. Councillor Alan Bradley, Cabinet Member for Street Environment at Westminster City Council, and Pascal Hauret, General Manager for Onyx Westminster, accepted the machine on behalf of the council and Onyx at the ceremony, which took place at the North Terrace of the Trafalgar Square, outside the National Gallery.
