IWWE 2008 comes to Dublin

With big-name product launches, seminars on the key issues affecting the industry and the chance to network with the main players, can your business afford to miss out on this year's Irish Water, Waste & Environment exhibition?

The Irish Water, Waste & Environment (IWWE) exhibition takes place at Dublin’s RDS on March 5-6, 2008.

Visitors to the show will be able to see more than 100 exhibitors demonstrate the latest products, technologies and services designed to help them sharpen up their operations.

IWWE, which is organised by WET News publisher Faversham House Group, will provide visitors with the chance to see first-hand the latest innovations concerning:

  • Environmental management systems
  • Filtration
  • IT solutions
  • Odour control
  • Pipes and pipelines
  • Pumps and valves
  • Sustainable drainage solutions
  • Treatment technology

The PCP Group will

be launching Norsonic’s NOR140 noise-monitoring equipment at the show, and will also feature Biotrickling Filtration in its product line-up.

Wachs aims to expand its services into the Irish market, and will be on hand at the show to demonstrate its Wachs Automated Valve Equipment (WAVE), which is designed to unseize valves without the risk of damaging the valves stems.

Vogelsang, which now has an office in Ireland, will display a range of its products. This will include the new Quick-Mix for the pre-mixing of solid waste with active sludge prior to introduction into the digester.

A new range of UV products will be displayed on Trojan UV Technologies’ stand.

The range, called the Trojan UVMax Pro Series, is aimed at commercial and large domestic applications. The company is also exhibiting Ultraviolet Light Disinfection Equipment for markets including water for reuse, wastewater disinfection and environmental contamination control.

Also being launched at the show is Butler Manufacturing Services’ Stormbreaker, which offers the latest storm cell technology. Butler produced the Stormbreaker as a result of recent advances in surface and storm water treatment, through research and development backed by Enterprise Ireland.

ECTG will exhibit Ecaflow technologies to meet water and wastewater disinfection requirements. These produce activated mixed-oxidant solutions that destroy all forms of microbes, including cryptosporidium.

For chopper pumps and aerators, Landia will be on hand to demonstrate its wares. These include aerators with knife systems, submersible mixers, submersible pumps and dry installed pumps.

Sustainable urban drainage systems and flood risk management is just one of the topics that will be covered during the two-day seminar programme at IWWE. Other topics include:

The Energy Zone, through the Energy Theatre, will play host to a series of seminars aimed at energy management professionals. Topics include:

· Cost and energy savings in WwTPs by use of analytical sensors

· Managing energy – how energy management can help you to save money

Also new to IWWE this year is the Innovation Lounge, where universities and research centres can display projects.
