The history of Pollution Control Products Co. is the history of "burn-off" ovens. The Company was founded in 1971 to build and market pollution-free furnaces for industrial use in removing hydrocarbons from various metal parts. The first "ovens" - Stator Reclamation Furnaces - were built in 1970 for stripping electric motor stators so they could be rewound. With the introduction of these single burner furnaces - the Model 88 - the Company began development of the first market for burn-off furnaces in the electric motor rewinding industry. Since then PCPC has led the way in product and market innovation, and today stands as the largest single manufacturer of these products in the world. Today, the Company continues to be the leader in environmentally safe pyrolysis cleaning technology. We offer four distinct models of Burn-Off Furnaces to meet the needs of widely varying applications. Our principles of doing business are simple. They are unchanged from when we began doing business in 1971.
