Agrivert upgrades waste treatment in Outer Hebrides

The Isle of Lewis is home to a sewage treatment centre that treats not only the sewage for the 23,000 residents but also the surrounding islands. Holm Point Sewage Treatment Centre in Stornoway now produces 6,000 tonnes of sludge cake per year, with the recent increase attributed to secondary treatment and extra imports.
