Today, rural communities worldwide are confronted with wastewater disposal problems. Due to their size and population density, they are often unable to superimpose effective solutions typically applicable to large urban areas. This leads many rural communities to employ on-site septic systems or cesspools for disposal of their wastewater. In addition, with increasing population density, the natural simulation capabilities of land and receiving water body are becoming saturated.
However, increasing pollution due to inadequate treatment or frequent failures of these on-site disposal systems have created a tremendous awareness that demands society and regulatory authorities to search for reliable practical solutions.
To meet these demands by rural communities worldwide AQUASOL EnviroTech Ltd. recently designed and engineered an advanced compact sewage system using its proprietary MicroEntrapd biotechnology. AQUASOL’s advanced MicroEntrapd systems closely simulate natural biological purification processes that take enormous advantages of natural power. More importantly, they employ new biotechnology to greatly enhance the capability of various living microorganisms in the purification process of wastewater. Thus, AQUASOL’s advanced MicroEntrapd system can be customized to meet client needs to treat many types of wastewater and to reliably satisfy and exceed the new stringent regulatory standards for discharge.
In brief, AQUASOL’s advanced MicroEntrapd wastewater treatment systems have proved to be practical and effective tools to help rural communities and industries better protect their valuable environment with minimal cost and very low maintenance. The AQUASOL process simply simulates nature at a much more accelerated rate. Using this process, raw sewage flows directly into the first storage chamber where the excess wastewater due to peak production is temporarily stored, and the concentration of the wastewater is homogenized naturally. Meanwhile, the solid matters such as debris, rubber, hair, grits, etc. are removed and properly stored for later disposal. The sewage then overflows by gravity (natural force) through a series of greatly enhanced biological processes. Each biological process is carried out in a specially designed biological chamber, technically called a “BIOREACTOR”. AQUASOL BIOREACTORS use advanced MicroEntrapd biotechnology to create an ideal home to sustain the growth of a high concentration of ‘friendly bacteria’, which can effectively remove the pollutants. The natural biological purification processes, which usually proceed slowly, are greatly accelerated in AQUASOL BIOREACTORS. Moreover, this is achieved with considerably less sludge produced than comparable systems on the market today.
Briefly, the functions of these series of MicroEntrapd BIOREACTOR’s are to accelerate the biological processes to liquefy the organic solids, conversion of the organic compounds into carbon dioxide and conversion of various forms of nitrogen into nitrogen gas. If desired, treated sewage can be effectively disinfected using a very powerful ‘pathogen-killer’, OZONE, prior to final discharge; the treated wastewater is clear, odorless and free of pathogen. Thus, it can be reused or discharged safely.
Proven, Reliable Technology
The successful application of natural biological processes for purification of sewage can be traced back to 100 years ago. Today more than 90% of large municipalities apply enhanced biological processes for treatment of large quantities of wastewater. In other words, the biological technology has been well accepted and approved as a reliable and economical means for municipal sewage disposal.
AQUASOL engineers further explored new environmental biotechnology, and developed an advanced MicroEntrapd biotechnology system for sewage treatment. The advanced MicroEntrapd biotechnology not only accelerated the natural biological purification processes but also greatly red
