Since 1996 Penny Walker has worked independently, helping clients from the corporate, public and voluntary sector. Her practice was listed in the Top Twenty small UK environmental consultancies by Environment Business Magazine. She is a Chartered Environmentalist, a member of the International Association of Facilitators, a Full Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment and a Fellow of the Institute of Business Consultancy. Before becoming an independent consultant, she worked at Friends of the Earth for eight years, including as Local Campaigns Director.
