The UK's Air1 team were on show duty at The Commercial Vehicle Operators Show, which ran from 13th - 15th April at the Birmingham NEC.
Although the main manufacturers were not present at the show attendance figures justified our expectations.
Sean Cole, Air1's UK Sales manager said "The past 12 months have been particularly difficult for the UK Road Freight Industry however the number of visitors on the Stand along with the genuine enquiries were most encouraging"
A selection of Air1's equipment proved a talking point amongst the visitors to the stand with new products such as the Manual IBC pump and the low cost 9000l tank particularly inciting interest. Air1's dedicated Customer Service Team who mainly deal with customers by phone all spent some time at the exhibition meeting existing and potential new customers face to face.
The stand also supported Transaid, an international UK based transport development charity working to reduce poverty and improve livelihoods across Africa through creating better transport infrastructure. A booth on the stand manned mainly by the Air1 Customer Service Team sold Air1 Model Trucks and raised £164 for the charity.
Air1 have already confirmed our attendance for The Commercial Vehicle Show 2011, taking place from 12-14th, and are looking forward to a successful year.
