Impact Technologies is a company dedicated to the Prognostic Health Management (a higher level of Condition-Based Maintenance) of equipment and processes. For the water & wastewater industry, Impact produces:
1) The CBMi Real-Time Monitoring System - the system monitors multiple parameters related to the health of many types of equipment.
2) The Dr. Watsen water quality sensor. This prognostic sensor (under development for the US Army) monitors parameters important to assessing the health and efficiency of water purification system processes. Measured parameters include turbidity, conductivity, free chlorine, and potentially biologics.
3) On-line lubricant quality sensors - to assess the health and remaining useful life of lubricating oils.
4) Low-powered wireless remote structural health and corrosion monitoring platforms and systems - that can support variable sensors including vibration sensors, strain gages, corrosivity sensors, temperature & humidity, etc.
