The Company was formed specifically to specialise in the safe environmental disposal of computer, telecoms and associated electronics equipment.
The principals of the Company were aware of the value of much of this type of equipment which contains a variety of recyclable metal materials, which in the past had been land filled once it’s useful life had ended.
Most electronics equipment uses printed circuit board technology to drive its logic processing, these boards all contain, in minute quantities, various metals namely, copper, silver, gold and palladium. The ability to recover these precious metals by accumulating them in bulk and then smelting them to reclaim the metals has been the cornerstone on which the Company has developed its ‘one stop shop’ electronics recycling business. From its humble beginnings the Company now processes thousands of tonnes of electronics material per annum and has developed a fully integrated range of services designed to recycle/recover on average 70% of all equipment processed.
