First again! MCERTS clean sweep for Aquamatic’s wastewater samplers
First, Aquamatic became the UK's inaugural wastewater sampler manufacturer to gain E-32compliance. Then in 2005 it became the very first wastewater sampler manufacturer to receive a coveted Environment Agency Monitoring Certification Scheme MCERTS certificate in continuous water monitoring equipment (CWMS) from SIRA Certification Service (SCS) - and now, the go-ahead Manchester-based firm has done it again by becoming the first UK company to gain MCERTS certification for its main range of wastewater samplers.
Local planning boost could help climate change efforts
Government efforts to integrate climate change measures in this week's Communities White Paper received a welcome from campaigners, although more could be done to integrate sustainable strategies into local planning overall, campaigners have said.
