VW scandal caused nearly 1m tonnes of extra pollution, analysis shows
Volkswagen's rigging of emissions tests for 11m cars means they may be responsible for nearly 1m tonnes of air pollution every year, roughly the same as the UK's combined emissions for all power stations, vehicles, industry and agriculture, a Guardian analysis suggests.
Carbon Reporting Performance of the FTSE 100 – Carbon Clear
This is the fifth year that Carbon Clear have carried out research into the carbon reporting performance of the FTSE 100. Each year, it aims to refine and rethink the scoring criteria to reflect best practice in carbon reporting and to incorporate findings from the previous year.
