This year's Energy Manager of the Year Award will be presented at a special gala dinner on the first night of the National Energy Management Exhibition (NEMEX), 20 May.
The Energy Services and Technology Association (ESTA) are sponsoring this award which recognises outstanding performance in controlling energy consumption and reducing carbon emissions. "We are all concerned about energy today," notes Alan Aldridge, Executive Director of ESTA. "And it is those in the frontline, the energy managers, who are delivering savings year-on-year across the public and private sectors. We are pleased to be able to publicly acknowledge the contribution they make to the economy and to the environment."
ESTA will also be highlighting the latest innovations in energy management at the special seminar it is running at the show on Thursday 22 May. Technologies to manage energy, reduce consumption and cut carbon emissions are in constant development. For example, automatic Monitoring & Targeting (aM&T) has gone from being a design concept to being standard - and Government approved - technology in less than a decade. So come and see the latest ways to help manage your energy demand. To pre-register for the seminar, visiting the ESTA website at: www.esta.org.uk
