Course Objectives:The objectives for this course are to create awareness and understanding of the need to adopt energy efficiency measures and to provide a practical framework to promote energy efficiency options to consumers. The course also ensures that holders of the qualification have knowledge and understanding of practical solutions to improve energy efficiency performance and to ensure that they have a detailed knowledge and understanding of Building Regulation L1 and other related constraints which support energy efficiency.
Additional subject areas covered are the benefits of efficient heating and hot water systems, energy efficiency and the building regulations and the importance of heating and hot water controls. Finally, the course covers the commissioning and handover of heating and hot water systems.
Our Energy Efficiency qualification is recognised by the Energy Saving Trust, CORGI and OFTEC.
