German household products company Henkel has published a report outlining its environmental progress last year.
The report claims that in 2007 the multinational cut the release of heavy metals from its operations by 57%, reduced energy use by 21% and reduced workplace accidents by 72%.
The company aims to make further cuts to energy and water use as well as reducing the waste it produces.
