Continue to contentThe WWT Round Table is a high-level debate bringing together water company chief executives and other experts from the water industry, government, regulators and the public to address topics of strategic importance to the water and wastewater industries.
Since its launch in 2002, WWT Round Tables have covered important topics such as:
- the need for a long-term vision for the water industry to help reduce the boom-and-bust investment cycle (May 2002)
- the impact of water company ownership models on asset delivery and customer service (December 2003)
- the need to ensure a sustainable water infrastructure in London (April 2005); to what extent water companies should take the front line role in tackling the effects of climate change (April 2008)
- how water companies can engage consumers to achieve a sustainable water strategy.
Web4Water brings you news of the Round Tables in these dedicated pages. See highlights via video podcast, read the magazine coverage in digital format or immerse yourself in the full 1.5 hour transcript via PDF.
Upcoming events in 2010 will tackle Smart Metering and Asset Management.
