Free Energy Saving Seminar for Hotels
Energy saving, voltage optimisation company EMSc Powerstar, is offering Hotel Industry executives the chance to attend a free seminar on how hotels can save up to 26% on their energy bills with the installation of a voltage optimisation solution.
The seminar which is being held at the Wellcome Collection Conference Centre, in London, is on 15th February 2011.
The seminar will provide hoteliers the opportunity to learn about the UK manufactured voltage optimisation solution Powerstar, which can help hotels reduce energy costs and lower carbon emissions, with proven results in a range of hotels throughout the UK including Guoman-Thistle, Holiday Inn and Hilton Hotels.
Speakers at the seminar will include Alan Aldridge of Energy Services and Technology Association (ESTA), Dr Mike Page of the EASIER Project and Laurence Burton of Coal Services, a market leader in Sustainable Energy. Mr. Burton will discuss the legislative landscape, energy management good practice through BS EN 16001 and energy management drivers and investment.
Around 35,000 hotels in the UK alone are affected by inflated energy costs due to them being unaware of sustainability measures available to them. Recent reports have indicated that as much as 70% of hotels could be paying too much for their energy, with an average 50 room hotel spending as much as £50,000 per annum on electricity bills.
Powerstar designer and managing director of EMSc Dr Alex Mardapittas commented, "Hotels are under increasing pressure to make savings without compromising service and to implement long term sustainable measures. Voltage optimisation allows hotels to do both save money and reduce carbon emissions."
