Manchester Breakfast Seminar: Energy Landscape – 2017 and Beyond
On Tuesday 6 June, Powerstar is hosting a free to attend breakfast seminar in Manchester, entitled 'Energy Landscape - 2017 and Beyond', over a breakfast barm and a cup of coffee. The seminar will take place at the HSBC UK National Cycling Centre in Manchester, which boasts free parking, public transport links and city centre access.
During the event, Powerstar will assess the limitations of the energy infrastructure in the UK and discuss the current and future energy landscapes, including how it must evolve to allow a transition into a smart energy, low carbon economy. The session will then explore how energy storage, Demand Side Response (DSR), renewal integration, and smart networks must be utilised to help reduce the cost of our future ‘green’ energy economy, ensuring businesses electricity bills are lower and supply is secure.
Presented by managing director and founder of Powerstar, Dr Alex Mardapittas, the seminar will offer its guests in-depth knowledge of the available energy management solutions, along with their benefits, which include: avoiding costly infrastructure upgrades, ensuring supply resilience through Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) benefits, contributions to ‘green’ consumption, additional revenue opportunities through grid schemes and incentives, and available efficiency improvements.
