A year of development for CDEnviro

Acceptance onto the Thames Water Framework, part of the multi-million pound refurbishment at Fobney Treatment works and a contract from the UK's largest recycling and resource management company; 2011 has been a year of development for CDEnviro.

The waste reduction and recycling technology specialists have unveiled new systems which have been developed in response to a number of prestigious contract wins, further demonstrating their capabilities and expertise in the waste industry.

In April the Enviro business unit of CDE Global was established as a limited company, CDEnviro Ltd, to provide a platform for further growth for environmental projects.

Projects delivered this year included the successful design and manufacture of a sand scraper bridge as part of a multi-million pound refurbishment of Fobney treatment works.

CDEnviro have developed further their expertise in gulley waste and road sweeping applications and have been awarded a contract to supply a G:Max system to recycle road sweepings to one of the U.K's largest recycling and resource management companies. A number of new technologies were developed specifically for road sweeping applications for this project, including a new 5m Rotomax log washer and a new screw feeding hopper. This facility has recently opened in the Midlands.

Further developments were made for a customer processing sewer grit to feed an In Vessel Composting (IVC) system. CDEnviro engineers developed a vacuum system for wet receptions which would remove excess moisture from sewage/sewer grit collected by tankers which is then stockpiled for composting by the IVC.

The S:Max range has this year seen the addition of the SRU:10 model. Designed to handle a smaller flow rate the unit is based on the successful SRU:25 with a number of product refinements.

2012 promises to be another busy year for CDEnviro with a number of new developments and projects already in the pipeline. Keep up to date with all CDEnviro news at www.cdenviro.com or on twitter @CDEnviro
