Ashridge offers scholarships of up to 50% on its MSc in Sustainability

Ashridge Business School has just introduced eight new categories under which candidates can apply for a scholarship of up to 50% on its MSc in Sustainability and Responsibility.

Famous as one of the most "diverse" business schools worldwide, these new categories aim to attract candidates from as many industry backgrounds and as many nationalities as possible. Current students and alumni of this programme have come from over 20 nationalities, have between 3 and 25 years of experience and are aged between 30 and 50.

Ashridge believes that one of the greatest sources of learning is in fact, your peers. Therefore, the school puts continuous effort in attracting people from diverse backgrounds who bring different organisational challenges and respectively different solutions to the table.

The eight new categories aim to attract candidates operating in the following areas: Social entrepreneurship, Business start-ups, Development work, Developing partnerships, Systems innovation, Ecological innovation, Renewable energies, Women in Sustainable business.

Scholarship applications must be received by 19 October 2015. The programme starts on 17 November 2015.
Working initially with Dame Anita Roddick, founder of The Body Shop International, then at the University of Bath, the Ashridge faculty developed a radically new form of business education, placing the perspectives and methods of self-awareness and action inquiry at the heart of developing leaders for a sustainable future. Much of what is becoming mainstream in corporate sustainability and sustainable leadership development today was foreshadowed in that work - from mindful awareness to conscious capitalism, social enterprise to systems innovation, eco-literacy to collaborative dialogue, these themes have threads of their development in the work of the Bath and Ashridge programmes.
This qualification is an intensely powerful development journey that goes well beyond the usual educational frame. Now with an alumni of over 500 practitioners worldwide, including those on the earlier MSc in Responsible Business Practice at the University of Bath, the programme has a central place in the development of leadership practice to reframe and remake business globally.

The MSc in Sustainability and Responsibility is designed with the needs of busy professionals in mind: predominantly online study with six three-day residentials at the fabulous Ashridge Business School, just 30 minutes away from London by train.
