UK Drainage Protocol (UKDP) is a specialist domestic drainage solutions provider working on behalf of councils across England and Wales. Working under the Drainage Protocol, best practice guidelines set down by the insurance industry, we manage shared drainage repair projects in a way that delivers cost efficiencies and customer satisfaction. Environmental Health departments refer cases to us involving damaged private shared sewers serving multiple properties. UKDP then co-ordinate the homeowners involved to resolve the issues by ensuring the costs of repairs are covered by the buildings insurer of each property.
UKDP provides a central hub of communication and control for all key parties that need to be involved in resolving these issues, often when lines of communication may not have previously existed - across homeowners, councils, insurers, loss adjusters and contractors.
