Helistrat appoints Head of Sustainability

Leading sustainability consultancy and contract management partner, Helistrat, has promoted Nathan Gray to the role of Head of Sustainability with immediate effect.

The newly created position has been developed to optimise the sustainability performance of both Helistrat as a business and its customers whose waste and resources it manages. Alongside his existing responsibilities Nathan will lead the formulation of a new sustainability vision, mission and set of operating principles, together with the strategy to deliver and measure performance against them.

Commenting on the appointment Helistrat’s CEO, Harvey Laud, said:

“The environmental performance of our customers and our business are intrinsically linked. This new role will provide us with a consistent set of principles that we can implement both internally and externally to minimise our collective environmental impact and ensure we make best use of the valuable secondary resources for which we are all responsible.”

Nathan Gray also commented, saying:

“I am delighted to be raising the bar of sustainability within my portfolio of responsibilities. We have always adopted a mindset that the material we manage is far more than waste and this new role will ensure we continue to broaden our horizons and support the development of a more circular economy.”
