Coffee Logs

Coffee Logs by bio-bean are carbon neutral, eco heating briquettes for wood burners, multi-fuel stoves and open fires; made from recycled coffee grounds, collected from coffee shops and businesses around the UK.

Coffee Logs

Coffee Logs are made from recycled coffee grounds collected from coffee shops and businesses around the UK. In fact, each Coffee Log contains the grounds from 25 cups of coffee! Typically, coffee grounds go to landfill where they emit methane, a greenhouse gas 28 times more potent than carbon dioxide. By recycling coffee grounds into Coffee Logs, we generate 80% less emissions than if the grounds are sent to landfill.

Coffee Logs can be used on their own or alongside wood logs. The benefit to Coffee Logs, though, is that they use a resource that would otherwise go to waste and they burn 20% hotter and longer than kiln-dried wood. Coffee Logs burn consistently, are highly calorific, and are a dry fuel (10% moisture content).
