About the UN SDGs
The United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals, otherwise known as the SDGs or Global Goals, are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity. The Global Goals were a result of 193 countries coming together to agree on a common framework to tackle 17 major world issues by the year 2030. They are hence recognised by governments, businesses, organisations and people across the world as a unified language for sustainability and a shared aspiration for a better world.
