Cranfield Alumni Environment Lecture, endorsed by The Society for the Environment

Cranfield University is pleased to announce an evening lecture for its environmental alumni on Thursday 18th September, focusing on two key environmental activities that remain a priority for the future sustainability of life - food and water.

The evening will include presentations by two leading academics at Cranfield, both of whom have established reputations internationally:

·Professor Dick Godwin, renowned worldwide for his long career in agriculture, food and environmental sustainability will be discussing 'Cranfield's contribution to food and environmental sustainability'.
·Professor Simon Parsons, Head of the Centre for Water Science, will share his views on 'Cranfield's contribution to water and environmental sustainability'.
To provide some lively debate, alumni delegates will be encouraged to ask questions with regards to these topics to an Expert Panel following the presentations.

The event will include an exhibition of key environmental organisations including the Society for the Environment and other sponsors such as IAgrE, CIWEM and IEMA. There will be an opportunity to browse the range of exhibition stands, meet with old friends and colleagues and network with other environmental alumni.

The event is open to all alumni and their guests and due to the kind sponsorship, is free of charge. However places will be limited so please reserve yours as soon as possible!
