Act now – only three days to deadline!
Deadline for entry into the Sustainability Leaders Awards 2013 is 5pm this Thursday - July 4th.
Recognising excellence in 12 distinct categories, some of which are new for 2013, the Sustainability Leaders Awards is organised by edie and sister title Sustainable Business. Each category focuses on specific aspects of sustainability and the improvements, both for the business and the environment, they drive.
From water, waste and energy management to sustainable building, stakeholder engagement and product innovation, there are awards for all businesses regardless of sector, focus or size. A full list of categories is available here.
The awards are open to all businesses and organisations across the public and private sectors and of all sizes from the largest multi-nationals to the smallest micro-organisations. As long as the initiative, project, product or strategy shows commitment, credibility and concrete results, we want to hear about it. Full criteria for each category are listed on the website.
The Sustainability Leaders Awards are included in the highly-regarded RSA accreditation scheme – one of only a handful of environmental schemes to qualify. This means that award winners have the opportunity to gain further accolades on the international stage, as they are automatically given access to the European Business Awards for the Environment.
Organised by specialist sustainability publishing house Faversham House, the awards began life as edie’s Awards for Environmental Excellence in 2006. Last year, edie.net joined forces with sister title Sustainable Business and the awards were re-branded as The Sustainability Leaders Awards to reflect the dynamic sector they serve.
Deadline for entry is Friday July 4th and the winners will be announced at a black-tie dinner and ceremony at London’s Grand Connaught Rooms on November 21st.
