Best Environmental Consultancy Winner: Arup

Instead, we engaged Accent, a third party market research agency, to survey a cross section of the Sustainable Business and edie readership, ascertaining those people responsible for purchasing environmental consultancy services.

We asked them to name their top three consultancies from the past 12 months and to rank them in order. Each ranking was then assigned a score, and a total calculated for each consultancy named. These scores were then used to create a league table of consultancies with the top six going forward as finalists.

We do not prompt respondents or suggest any firms, so all the consultancies have been specifically nominated by actual customers.

It means this award is the only Sustainability Leader Award that is voted for by the readership – a ringing endorsement for Arup and for the other consultancies on the list.
