Conductivity Monitoring

Orbisphere Limited are able to supply the full range of GLI conductivity instrumentation and sensors. This includes both contacting and non-contacting technologies.

A number of instruments are available to suit different applications. The Model 53 is a wall, panel or pipe mounted unit with 4-20mA outputs and alarm relays. The Model 33 has similar features, but is purely a panel mounted instrument. For loop powered applications the PRO series is available. This has a digital display but no relays. All instruments exceed U.S. and European standards for EMI and RFI.

GLI’s Model 3400-series Contacting Conductivity Sensors are designed to accurately measure conductivity/resistivity from ultrapure water (0.056 µS/cm) to 200,000 µS/cm in clear fluids. Each sensor is available in a variety of precisely measured cell constants and materials of construction to meet many measurement needs. When used with the Model C53 or C33 conductivity analyzer, unsurpassed measurement accuracy is accomplished utilizing the unique DRY-CAL method.

GLI’s 3400-series sensors are ideal for deionization, reverse osmosis, electro-deionization, desalination, chemical purity, and other clear fluid applications.

GLI’s Model 3700E-series Electrodeless Conductivity Sensors are rugged, non-fouling, and have versatile mounting configurations, making them suitable for in-line or submersion mounting. A variety of wetted materials are available, including Polypropylene, PEEK, PFA Teflon® and PVDF.

Since these sensors have no electrodes, problems with contacting type electrodes— such as polarization, oily fouling, process coating, and contamination— will not affect their performance.

GLI offers electrodeless sensors for solutions with conductivity as high as 2,000,000 microSiemens/cm, and with a temperature between 0 and 200°C. All models are automatically temperature compensated over this range.
