As hundreds of world leaders, policymakers and climate experts meet in Poland to discuss how best to address some of the world’s most pressing climate challenges, edie has launched a new series of podcast episodes which will round-up all of the key developments and major announcements for businesses, in under 10 minutes.

edie’s editorial team will, therefore, be running a series of quick-fire podcast episodes, briefing readers on the latest announcements and updates every two days throughout the two-week event, which concludes on 14 December.

The first two days of the event were summarised by edie’s reporter Sarah George, and can be listened to here, while content editor Matt Mace rounded up all the key happenings of days three and four.

It was back over to Sarah for days five and six, with the third episode including an exclusive interview Mars’s climate and land manager. That podcast can be listened to in full here.

But for those wanting all the latest stories and information, edie has rounded up all the key news and views from days seven and eight in this new episode.

Recorded on Wednesday (12 December), this podcast covers progress towards the Paris Agreement rulebook, the latest business commitments to have been made at the summit and the US Administration’s efforts to make “clean fossil fuels” a reality.
