In today’s episode…

The edie team are re-united for episode four, discussing their highlights – and lowlights – from the first few days of COP, before Matt and Sarah take hold of the podcasting baton.

First, Matt speaks with Beverley Cornaby, senior programme manager of the UK Corporate Leaders Group, about the “decade of delivery” that lies ahead of for businesses, and the need for today’s climate leaders to empower fellow orgaisations to follow suit.

Then, Sarah catches up with Hakan Bulgurlu, chief executive of household goods company Arçelik Group, about what true sustainability leadership will look like off the back of COP26 – including some shocking statistics about tackling Scope 3 emissions.

And finally, Matt ventures outside of the COP26 walls to visit the Moskito Bar, for a green finance-focused chat with Triodos Bank’s chief executive Bevis Watts and WWF-UK’s director of sustainable economy Karen Ellis – ahead of a special screening of Our Planet: Too Big To Fail at the nearby Glasgow Film Theatre.
