In today’s episode…

Sarah sits down with Mastercard’s chief sustainability officer Kristina Kloberdanz to recap on what was a number-spinning Finance Day at COP26 and to look at how corporates can accelerate their own net-zero strategies.

Late on in the day, Matt exits the Blue Zone to meet Ita Kettleborough, the deputy director at Energy Transitions Commission. Ita was on hand to offer her thoughts on the major Energy Day announcements, and whether newly updated National Determined Contributions to the Paris Agreement are enough to “keep 1.5C alive”.

Finally, Matt meets the Resilient Cities Network’s executive director Lauren Sorkin to discuss how climate, diversity and equity need to be tackled in unison to build a resilient future.

The Network unveiled the Resilient Infrastructure Diversity and Equity (RIDE) Scorecard at COP26 and Sorkin explains how businesses can also use a similar approach to ensure their actions and value chains are fit for purpose.
