Hackathon

DEFINITION: Also known as a hack day, hackfest or codefest, hackatons are events that see experts meet to collaboratively work on a specific project or topic in a sprint-like fashion. Businesses have used hackathon to crowdsource solutions to challenges such as plastic phase outs and onsite renewables.
