Remanufacturing

DEFINITION: A process where an end-of-life product is rebuilt to a like-new or better performance using a mixture of old and new materials. Remanufacturing promotes waste reduction, decreasing the demand on the world’s natural resources, saves CO2 emissions in manufacturing and cuts costs for businesses.
