MGM, a French property developer and member of Sustain Worldwide is planning to build the luxury properties with state-of-the-art sustainability and energy efficiency features.

Sustain Worldwide is invitation-only membership organisation, comprising of leading sustainable property developers and professionals working in the sustainability arena.

Their CEO, Anwar Harland-Khan said: “We applaud MGM’s commitment to develop the resorts and properties to very high sustainability standards.

“Sustainable properties are all about better quality living. They are built with care and attention to detail, which means the construction and finish quality tend to be far superior to conventional houses.

“They are more energy efficient, which means lower utility bills for owners, and invariably they don’t cost any more to buy either. It’s a win win situation.”

MGM plans to start work on the new schemes in 11 locations as soon as this winter’s ski season is over.

The properties will attract high-end customers looking for luxury but who also have an interest in environmentally friendly design.
