edie’s 2010/11 Consultancy Survey published

edie's comprehensive state-of-the-industry consultancy survey provides insight into the consultancy sector from both consultants and from their customers.

Customers’ opinions are taken in an independent telephone survey of 500 environment consultancy customers across large UK corporations and public sector organisations to provide an independent source for the results of the Award for Environmental Excellence’s Consultancy Awards.

These awards were handed out at a black tie dinner last year at London’s Hurlingham Club, more information can be found at the Awards website.

Complementing the awards and, published here for the first time, are the views of the consultants themselves and established by an online survey of some 300 environmental consultants.

Their opinions have been assessed and processed into easy to read graphs revealing what they think of themselves and their competition.

The only part of the consultant’s views revealed before this survey was the firm consultants would most like to work for as this is the only category people can vote for their own employers in, this was awarded to ADAS.

The rest of the results can be viewed below on the left, accompanied on the right by the views of their customers.
