Edie’s publisher launches Irish environmental exhibition

Faversham House Group, the company that publishes edie as well as organising the well-established Irish Water Exhibition and Irish Recycling & Waste Exhibition is set to host another Dublin event focusing on the environment and the corporate sector.

The Irish Sustainable Business Exhibition will run alongside the water and waste shows at Simmonscourt, Dublin on 13-14 October 2010.

Aimed at all businesses wanting to reduce their environmental, water and carbon footprints, the Irish Sustainable Business Exhibition will offer advice, case studies and best practice guides and feature suppliers of sustainable products and services.

The launch of the event in Ireland follows the inaugural sister event Sustainable Business – The Event, attracting more than 4,000 visitors in its first year in the UK in May 2009.

The exhibition will offer a platform to discuss climate change policies and legislation, carbon tax models, carbon footprinting and labeling and many other relevant topics with peers, industry experts and the public sector.

The high-level seminar programme held at the Irish Sustainable Business Exhibition will be free to attend for all visitors to Resource Ireland.

It will address topics from carbon reduction and sustainability strategies over climate change and green transport to behavioural change and communication.

If you want to get involved in the seminar programme or want to see certain topics addressed, please don’t hesitate to let the organiser know at resourceireland@fav-house.com.

The Irish Water Exhibition, also part of Resource Ireland will again stage a two day workshop for water professionals organised and hosted by ESAI. Details on topics and speakers will be available in the coming months and published on the event’s and ESAI websites.

As in previous years, CIWM Ireland and CRE will be organising a CPD accredited seminar programme for recycling and waste professionals, to be held within the Waste Theatre at the Irish Recycling & Waste Exhibition.

More information about the free seminars running at the show and exhibitors booked will be released in the coming months on www.resourceireland.net.
