EPA introduces its most sensitive mercury testing method yet
The EPA has announced a new procedure for measuring mercury levels in water. The method can detect mercury below one part-per-trillion.
The new procedure will work in conjunction with existing mercury testing methods, and is the final regulation amendment to the EPA’s “Guidelines Establishing Test Procedures for the Analysis of Pollutants” under section 304(h) of the Clean Water .
