Estonia cuts water supply to Russian border town

Estonian authorities in Narva have turned off the sole water supply to the Russian border city of Ivangorod because the municipal authority owes over US$ 1 million in water bills.

Ivangorod says it cannot pay due to the economic crisis, while the semi-private Narva Water Company claims is will go bankrupt if its bill is not paid. – See article linked below for more details
