Faversham House Group Acquires International Clean Up Show

Faversham House Group Ltd (FHG) has acquired International Clean Up, the UK’s premier exhibition for contaminated land remediation and pollution clean up, from S W Events.

Under its new owners, International Clean Up will be co-located with ET, the UK’s only environmental technology and management exhibition. Both shows will take place on 8-10 April 2003 at the NEC.

Joint Managing Director of FHG, Amanda Barnes, commented: “Our acquisition further demonstrates FHG’s commitment to and investment in the environmental market and the ongoing development of ET”.

Paul Webster, Director of SW Events, commented: “I believe this is the best possible option for International Clean Up. After three years, we have taken the show as far as we can at G-Mex. The move alongside ET at the NEC will not only benefit exhibitors, but will help to develop the profile of the remediation and clean up business.”

Amanda Barnes added: “Our acquisition of ICU and its future co-location with ET will provide visitors and exhibitors alike with the perfect forum to network and do business. FHG will build on the success of ICU and broaden its scope. We have ambitious plans to develop ICU and ET and will be announcing some exciting new initiatives this year.”
