GCA awarded framework extension with United Utilities

The joint venture between Galliford Try, Costain and Atkins known as GCA has been awarded an extension to its AMP4 framework with United Utilities to cover the five-year AMP5 period starting in April 2010.

The total value of the framework to the GCA jv is £300m. The nature of the work is to implement UU’s non-infrastructure capital delivery programme in its southern area.

The majority of projects are likely to be improvements to both clean and waste water processing plants, as was the case in AMP4.
