Ireland’s climate change talks

Climate change expert will address delegates as part of Ireland's Environmental Protection Agency's lecture series.

Speaking tomorrow (November 24), at The Mansion House, with the lecture Back to the Future – The Role of Climate Science will be professor Jean-Pascal van Ypersele, vice-chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

A spokesman for the EPA said: “We’re delighted to provide a platform for this world-renowned speaker, at this critical time ahead of the Copenhagen talks.

“Climate warming has now been qualified by the IPCC as unequivocal, the main factor for the warming since 1950 has been identified -greenhouse gases from human activities.”
