Distributor Takeback Scheme

DEFINITION:  An EU scheme which aims to reduce the waste and improve the environmental performance of all materials involved in the life cycle of the electrical and electronic equipment. Retailers of electrical and electronic equipment must meet certain requirements for the reuse and recycling of their e-waste.
